Thirty Oconee landowners enjoyed a delicious complimentary brunch of homemade breakfast casseroles and quiche, fruit compote and granola on Saturday, Jan. 18, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Walhalla.
The landowners also learned about conservation easements from host Oconee Forever as its members and guests shared their expertise and stories. Speakers were Shea Airey, chair, Oconee County Conservation Bank; Rex Ramsey, local landowner, and Erin Knight, Land Trust director, Upstate Forever.
